AI decision layer in Granditude Commerce
Granditude Aurora finds what is costing you money, and fixes it
Every business system records what happened. Aurora decides what happens next. It reads the complete picture of how your business makes money, finds what is quietly costing you, tells you what to do with the value stated, and carries the decision back into the application that owns it.
Receives
- Everything that crosses the data stream
- Products, prices and campaigns
- Orders, stock and supplier deliveries
- Landed cost at every goods receipt
Publishes
- Drafted purchase orders
- Price changes and campaigns
- Reorder points
- Lifecycle changes
A dashboard only shows what someone thought to look for
Most growing merchants run on revenue and a feeling about margin. Dashboards and alerts help only when someone already suspects the problem, and the real causes sit across different systems: the stockout was a supplier slipping, the margin drop was a cost that moved while the price stood still.
Aurora needs no question in advance. It reads demand, stock, supply, cost and price together, ranks thousands of small signals down to the few worth your week, and states what each one is worth.
Sound familiar?
- Margin calculated once a quarter, after the money is gone
- A supplier slowly running late without anyone noticing
- Capital stuck in stock that stopped selling months ago
What Granditude Aurora does
- It does the looking
- You never search for a problem. Aurora opens with the ones it has already found.
- Ranked, not listed
- Thousands of small signals reduced to the few worth a person's week.
- True contribution margin
- What you actually earned per product, customer and channel, after landed cost, fees, freight and discount.
- A value on every recommendation
- Each proposal states what it is worth, why, and how confident it is, before you decide.
- One click to done
- Approve a recommendation and the purchase order is drafted, the price changes or the reorder point updates, in the application that owns that decision.
- Guardrails, not blind trust
- Set the limits, such as never below this margin or never commit more than this without asking. Aurora works inside them and brings you the exceptions.
- Numbers you can audit
- Margins, stock cover and impact are calculated by deterministic code and trace back to the rows behind them. The AI explains the numbers; it never invents them.
- Rules still apply
- Aurora never writes around an application. Every change goes through the application that owns it, so VAT, rounding and other rules apply exactly as if a person made the change.
How a late delivery becomes a decision
A delivery arrives late
The warehouse books it in eight days after the date the purchase order promised. Nothing about it looks like a problem.
It keeps happening
Across many receipts, the supplier averages far longer than the lead time in the agreement. The pattern is in the data, but nobody is looking.
Aurora finds it
It checks the products that supplier covers against demand and projected stock, and finds days of unavailability coming that nobody has seen yet.
You approve, it acts
The recommendation comes with a value and the reasoning. Approve it, and reorder points are raised in Purchase Management through the ordinary workflow.
Part of one platform, not another silo
Aurora never talks to another application directly. It publishes what it owns to Connect once, and receives what it needs the same way. That is why the numbers stay the same in every system.
Who uses it
- Owners and managing directors see what is costing the business money, with a value on each item.
- Buyers get supplier and stock problems before they become stockouts.
- Pricing managers and controllers see true margin and act on prices and campaigns.

Questions about Aurora
What is Granditude Aurora?
Aurora is the decision layer of Granditude Commerce. It reads the complete picture of how your business makes money, finds what is costing you, recommends what to do with the value stated, and applies approved decisions in the application that owns them.
How is Aurora different from a BI dashboard?
A dashboard shows what someone built a view for, and an alert fires only on a rule someone wrote. Aurora needs no question in advance, ranks what it finds by value, and ends in an action such as a drafted purchase order rather than a chart.
What is true contribution margin?
What you actually earned on a sale after the cost of the goods when they landed, payment fees, freight and discounts. Aurora calculates it per product, customer, channel and market.
Does Aurora make changes on its own?
Only what you approve, and later only inside guardrails you set. Every change goes through the application that owns it, so all of that application's rules still apply.
Where does Aurora use AI, and where not?
AI finds and ranks what matters and explains it in plain language. The numbers themselves, margins, stock cover and estimated impact, are calculated by ordinary code that can be audited line by line.
Does Aurora only work with Granditude Commerce?
Aurora is built on the Granditude Commerce data model and can also be connected to the shop, accounting and warehouse systems a merchant already runs.
